US Oscar winning actor Charlton Heston dies at the age of 84..
He had announced in 2002 that he had health problems.
He was suffering of Alzheimer's disease, a tough presidential disease.
Having played in films such as Ben Hur and The Ten Commandments, the famous actor has passed away at 84.
He died at his home with Lydia, his wife of 64 years, at his side.
The family said that:
"To his loving friends, colleagues and fans, we appreciate your heartfelt prayers and support. Charlton Heston was seen by the world as larger than life".
