Dita von Teese does Citizen K magazine

“Through fashion, you can be a flirt.” Tells us Dita von Teese, the cover girl for this month’s Citizen K magazine, while talking about her new line of lingerie, launched while still in her thirties.

“I’m a crazy girl with an obsession for lingerie. It is not a question of seduction, but of femininity, which is very different.” Indeed it is.

In the photo shoot for the magazine, there is nothing vulgar about her clothes, they actually seem quite innocent. Well, that’s just a side to it, because every outfit has a little hint of sexiness about it.

The clothes are a little old school and make her a seem a teen, reminding us of female icons from decades ago. Seeing these pictures, you wouldn’t guess her real job, that of a stripper.

When talking about her choice in career she says: “When I was young, I was given advice for becoming rich and famous. I did neither. There are many women who want to be actresses or models, but nobody wants to be a great stripper. What I wanted was not to be like everyone else, so I said I want to be a stripper.”
