After being "delighted to announce the healthy arrival of their two daughters" on Tuesday, actress Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick are now showing the first snapshot of their twins.
As you can notice, the photo shows a smiling Sarah and a happy Matthew, each holding a twin in their arms. [Marion left, and Tabitha right]. Their 6 year-old son, James Wilkie Broderick, stands in between mom and dad, almost fascinated by one of his little sisters.
This first official photo of the family was taken by Robin Layton, in New York.. if anyone cares.
The two girls were born last Monday at an Ohio hospital to a surrogate mother, having been named something like... hm... Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick and Tabitha Hodge Broderick !? Born at 3:58 p.m., Marion weighed 5 lbs., 11 oz, and Tabitha weighed 6 lbs.
Why would a child need 4 names? Maybe to have the chance to actually like one.
Anyway, "The babies are doing beautifully and the entire family is over the moon" the couple confirmed in a statement."Both Hodge and Elwell are family names on Parker's side" the statement continues.
I hope you won't forget them in an airport or something.
